WB Jet Epoxy
Quick Overview
WB Jet Epoxy is a water-based epoxy curing agent that lets you create unique microporous systems that are breathable and water vapor permeable preventing delamination and blistering. This means floors can be laid and returned to service quickly, without the extra costs involved with reducing moisture content of the concrete. It is based on a polymeric emulsion and, as a result, provides superior performance for a wide range of applications. It has been developed primarily for use with liquid epoxy resins, out-performing solid emulsion-based systems by offering the capability to formulate systems with zero VOC and without resin emulsifiers.
Technical Application Data
Application substrates must be clean/dry from contaminates; i.e. free of loose rust, paint, moisture, dirt, oils, etc. This material is to be applied within 40°F to 100°F. Mix 2A:1B thoroughly with a hand drill jiffy mixer. Apply primer coating by roller, brush or air-less sprayer. Spraying may require up to 10% additional water to be mixed in. Working time at 75°F is 25 min. Recommended max wet application film thickness is 16 mils. Coverage at 10 mils is 100 sq. ft./ mixed gal. If application surface exhibits extensive corrosion, normal forms of media blasting is recommended to create a secure surface preparation.

Substrate Surface Preparation
Preparation of substrate surface prior to the application of a SuperSkinSystem is extremely important to achieve proper system bonding.
Concrete must be fully cured and should be prepared with a sandblasting, diamond grinding or machine sanding depending on the severity of the concrete surface condition. Similar proper preparation must be performed for metals. Primers also require this proper preparation. Always power clean using mild detergent prior to sanding, etc. Call Tech Support Group for assistance with selecting SSS application system. Also read the Application Page on this website. If patching concrete, use mineral filled fast-set Acrylic Modified Epoxy applied by trowel. For expansion joints, use Joist Seal applied by hand cartridge dispensing gun. It is always best to perform a test within a small section of the application area prior to full scale engagement.
